TVELFTH CONVOCATION Scheduled
on SEPTEMBER 09, 2017 (SATURDAY) at 8:30 AM
Dear All,
This is to inform you that all the information and regular
updates relevant to Twelfth Convocation, which
is scheduled
to be held on September
09, 2017 Saturday 8:30 AM at IIIT-Allahabad,
will be made available at http://convocation.iiita.ac.in
All
the degree recipients are required to submit the ONLINE Registration Form latest by August 31, 2017 (10:00 PM), wherein all details are compulsory.
Compulsory requirements for receiving the degree from the dais:
Only the formally attired
candidates who report to the Convocation hall (The Main
Auditorium, IIIT Allahabad) latest by 7:30
AM on 9th September 2017 and who attended the rehearsal as scheduled at 4:30 PM on
September 08, 2017 are eligible to receive the degree/Medal from the Dais.
The convocation
Registration Fee for these candidates is NIL.
They must collect the Convocation Robes on
September 08, 2017 during 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Rs. 2000/-
as security deposit for the convocation robe should be submitted
at the time of gown collection. After the convocation the robes should be
returned for the refund of the security deposit.
Compulsory requirements for receiving the degree from AAA
Section on 09.09.2017:
Students, who
fail to attend the rehearsal for any reason, may receive their degree after
convocation on 09.09.2017 between 12:30 - 1:30 PM from Room No. 1713, Admin
Extension Building. However they need to be formally attired and remain present
in the hall during the convocation.
The convocation
Registration Fee for these candidates is NIL.
They must collect the Convocation Robes on
September 09, 2017 during 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM from outside the convocation hall.
Rs. 2000/- as security deposit for the convocation robe
should be submitted at the time of the robe collection. After the convocation
the robes should be returned for the refund of the security deposit.
Compulsory requirements for receiving the degree by Post:
If you are unable to attend the convocation ceremony, then you are required to submit an affidavit in the format (which shall be made available on Sept 10th 2017), to receive your degree by post after the convocation.
The Affidavit should be submitted on a
Non-Judicial stamp paper of Rs.10/- duly Notarized by the Notary or Oath
Commissioner.
These candidates are required to pay a
Fee of Rs. 1000/- only.

Important
Program-wise tentative list of eligible students (with name in Hindi & English) for award of Degree, subject to fulfillment of all other requirements, is available at convocation webpage.
All the Degree
awardees are requested to check their name (English
as well as in Hindi). Any modification/ correction should be
intimated at convocation@iiita.ac.in positively by 21 August, 2017. E-mail send to any other id will
not be entertained.
Only those candidates who will confirm their presence for receiving their Degree at https://convocation.iiita.ac.in/, by 31.8.2017 (10.00PM) and attend the rehearsal scheduled to be held on 08.09.2017 at 4:30 PM shall be invited on dais for receiving the Degree. List of degree recipient from Dais will also be made available at the convocation portal.
To receive the degree by post you are
required to submit the affidavit and pay the fee Rs. 1000/- either ONLINE or by
demand draft made in favour of "IIIT-Allahabad" payable
at Allahabad. Send the affidavit and Demand Draft or Online payment
receipt to Assistant Registrar (Academics & Exam), Indian Institute of
Information Technology, Deoghat, Jhalwa, Allahabad - 211015.
